Hello, my name is David Ikezu and the purpose of Brush is to give everyone a chance to reconnect again in person.

I figured that if everyone is already on their phones, whether at the gym, grocery store, or their favorite cafe, then why not broadcast your availability to those whom you would like to meet?

In times such as these, I can relate to the subtle discomfort of approaching strangers whom we would otherwise dream of randomly finding on our "favorite" dating apps at home. So instead of waiting or missing out on a chance, why not shoot your shot (if you feel comfortable) and quietly let them know that you want to say hi?

It's subtle because they will not see your wave until they mutually match with you - agreeing to meet in person, effectively.

And honestly, if you would rather just approach them in person, then more power to you - but do so respectfully and keep it moving if they aren't interested, match or not.

On the flip side, you can also proactively remove profiles you would prefer not to interact with, and they would no longer see your profile.
